Stephane Roncada is no stranger to the Pro rank race track. The former Kawasaki rider turned game developer rejoins the team behind MX vs. ATV to ensure authenticity. Roncada looks to provide that certain level of influence that only a native to the curves of a course can truly understand.
“I’m thrilled to return to the MX vs. ATV team at Rainbow Studios,” Roncada said. “I enjoy making video games tremendously, but to have the opportunity to develop motocross games again is extra special. It gives me the opportunity to bring what I found most fun and exciting about real racing to many people at home, who might not have the opportunity to race Supercross for real”.
MX vs. ATV is slated for release on October 7, 2014 for $29.99. This version of MX vs. ATV is presumably the last title in the series to be hitting the PlayStation 3 console. Nordic Games acquired Rainbow Studios, a former studio under the THQ umbrella, during the liquidation of the company.
There is no PlayStation 4 version scheduled at this time. However, if we can make an estimate as to if the title will in fact come to the console, simply look at the list of remakes slated to hit release.
