EA has finally brought The Sims 4 over to consoles, but the new release seems to have a big new problem attached to it: save data issues.
Many users have taken to EA’s support forums to detail the problems they’ve run into while playing the early access version of The Sims 4 on both PS4 and Xbox One. The main problem is that the game seems to not save at all aside from the autosave which is done at the very beginning after you create a Sim. People are also reporting the game freezing on top of not saving any progress. Some have been playing for hours and can’t save their progress; a problem which any gamer dreads.
The thread was created a week ago and has yet to be fixed, as new posts are still popping up detailing the same problems. The retail edition of The Sims 4 dropped on November 17th, so it looks like it wasn’t just an early access version issue. Hopefully, EA can get these severe bugs fixed quickly.
