PlayStation is one of the biggest brands in the world. Ask just about anyone and they’ll likely say that they’ve heard of it, and there’s a good chance they’ve owned/own at least one of the four home consoles, if not any of the handhelds. So, how would you like to ‘represent’ the PS Nation with some new swag?
That’s what Nike is hoping for as it’s teamed up with Sony to create a new pair of tennis that’s completely decked out in a PlayStation theme dubbed the Nike PG-2 “PlayStation”. It even features PS symbols that can be completely lit up or pulsate. On top of that, every pair of the shoe comes with a voucher code for the PlayStation Store. What it actually unlocks has not been announced, but something tells me it might end up being something related to the NBA as this is also in partnership with NBA All-Star Paul George.
The release date is February 10th, and they’re going to cost $110. Check out the promo video:
Having been introduced to video games at the age of 3 via a Nintendo 64, A.K has grown up in the culture. A fan of simulators and racers, with a soft spot for Nintendo! But, he has a great respect for the entire video game world and enjoys watching it all expand as a whole.
