Monster Hunter World is going to get a dash of Hadouken because players can now unlock and use Ryu’s armor. According to Capcom unity, players with Street Fighter V Arcade Edition save files can participate in quests to earn the armor set.
From February 15th (4pm PST) until March 1st (4pm PST), we’ll be featuring the quest to get Ryu’s set as an exclusive early opportunity to PS4 players that also have a save data file from Street Fighter V (including Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition).
Hunters with that save data will receive a special quest called “Down the Dark, Muddy Path.” After claiming the quest at the Housekeeper, it’ll be available under the Challenge Quests menu from the Arena Lass at the Gathering Hub.
From there, just channel your fighting spirit, complete that quest and you’ll get “SFV Tickets” as the special reward item. Bring that, along with other necessary materials, to the Smithy and you got yourself a Ryu armor set!
The post goes on to say that players without a save file will have the opportunity to unlock Ryu’s armor at a later time. It was also teased that an upcoming event will allow Monster Hunter World players to unlock Street Fighter combatant Sakura’s armor as well.
Monster Hunter World is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Are you interested in Ryu’s armor? If so, will you be participating in the upcoming quests? Did you like the exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn armor set? Leave a comment below.
