Over the past week, numerous games that were apparently going to be revealed at E3 2018 were leaked. This list of games that popped up on Walmart Canada included Rage 2, to the surprise of many. Developed by id software and published by Bethesda, the original game launched in 2011, and didn’t appear to have much popular support, despite receiving mostly positive review scores across the board and numerous pre-release awards.
Bethesda went along with the leak and commenced their own marketing to get ahead of the leak in order to not lose steam about the game. A Twitter account was revived for the occasion, and Bethesda started to post teasing images about the game, with a reveal set for May 14th.
Today, a video was released and showcases the crazy action Rage players would expect, though the major parts of the gameplay and details surrounding the title will be revealed on May 15th. While no platforms for release have been revealed just yet, it should be safe to bet that Rage 2 will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in the near future. Keep an eye out tomorrow for the gameplay reveal!
