The rumors swirling about of Diablo 3 being ported to the Nintendo Switch have been strong this year. In a surprising new twist, Blizzard has recently announced it is working on a new installment in the franchise through a job listing.
The job listing says the development team is working on a new, unannounced Diablo project and they are looking for a skilled dungeon artist. Blizzard is looking for new personnel to expand its team with diverse backgrounds and a real passion for game development to “build something exceptional.”
What does this job entail? The skills needed by the team as described in the job posting are modeling and texturing assets, having a solid grasp of form, color, and light for 2D and 3D art assets.
Some prerequisites for this new career involve having some experience, 3+ years to be exact in dealing with building environments. The ability to work as a passionate team, are self-driven, and able to mentor junior environment artists are preferred characteristics of the new hire.
