Mortal Kombat 11 took The Game Awards by storm several days ago as the game was announced with a gruesome trailer – as one would expect from Mortal Kombat. Now there are a couple editions of Netherrealm Studio’s latest bloodbath available for pre-order. The game launches on April 23 of 2019 and pre-orders have gone live on many sites and in stores.
A standard edition of the game is obvious as the game carries the traditional $60 price tag with no added DLC perks aside from the pre-order bonus. But, about that bonus. Netherrealm wants to make sure you’re enticed to get in on the action early! So, in case added characters are important to you, players will receive Shao Kahn as a free downloadable character just for pre-ordering. A premium edition will be available as well. This edition will cost you $99.99 USD and it comes with additional DLC that has not been detailed at this time. Although, it’s likely certain that Netherrealm will develop a wide swath of DLC fighters and skins to be included in the DLC content similar to past releases for Mortal Kombat X. Choose your destiny!

If a game is all about action, there’s a safe bet I’m playing it. I started laying waste to virtual worlds as a youngin’ on the ol’ Atari and haven’t stopped since.
