The Japan version of the Resident Evil 2 demo has been handled a bit more delicately, it seems, than the US version. Destructoid has noted that fan reactions to the Japanese version have proved that the demo is less bloody than its US counterpart. The demo which just released this past week features a brief window view of Capcom’s upcoming remake of the PlayStation original classic. If you know exactly what to do, you may be able to complete the full scope of the demo. If not, your 30-minute timer will run out and you’ll have to wait for the game’s launch on Jan. 25 for more.
Destructoid also pointed out that Resident Evil 7 was scaled back for the Japanese version as well. So, it’s possible that this will carry over to the full game’s release. We’ll find out soon enough at the end of this month.
