We’ve known about this for some time. And, it only made sense for Ubisoft to release a remaster of an older title in a year that won’t see a new entry in the series. Now, we have a release date for Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered. The game will launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 29.
Fans who are eager to relive the days of assassinating templars during the American Revolution will also be excited to hear that the game will come complete with a copy of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. Liberation was originally released for the PlayStation Vita. The remastered edition of Assassin’s Creed III will also include the Tyranny of King Washington DLC. This DLC followed an alternate history of events where George Washington assumed the role of King instead of helping found the democracy the United States of America has today.
This package will feature 4K and HDR functionality for PS4 Pro owners. And, those who already purchased the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass will gain access to this entire package for free! Of course, if you didn’t purchase the season pass, this Assassin’s Creed III collection can be purchased separately. Accountant by day, video games enthusiast by night. Somewhere in between all of that, I’m a husband, dad, and generally a giant man-child, too. If a game is all about action, there’s a safe bet I’m playing it. I started laying waste to virtual worlds as a youngin’ on the ol’ Atari and haven’t stopped since.
