The Last of Us: Part II is definitely one of the most anticipated games of all time, but outside of E3 2018, things have been pretty quiet.
However, developer Naughty Dog has now given us an update about the game’s progress in development.
Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director, tweeted out an image of the game’s final script page. It simply reads, “Cut to black. The end.” The Naughty Dog team has now finished shooting the final scene for The Last of Us: Part II.

Just a few days ago, we also got an Instagram post from Druckmann featuring Laura Bailey. Her character is still unknown in The Last of Us: Part II, but her work has also wrapped.
With development still underway, it will be a relief to fans to know at least this part of the efforts is done. No release window or date has been announced for the Naughty Dog sequel, and it may even be part of the PS5 generation if it bleeds over, just like Death Stranding.
Trophy hunter and dedicated completionist, love to talk all things games!
