It would seem it would not be E3 without a Ubisoft leak, this time for the upcoming Watch Dogs Legion. Amazon UK put up a product page for the game, which will bring players to London, as reported by The Nerd Mag.
According to the description, Watch Dogs Legion will reflect more of current events:
“Watch Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics, and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes,” it states.
However, the description does contain some weird language and errors, stating that “London makes total sense for WD,” which is totally weird coming from a publisher. In addition, the product description also misspells the word “surveillance” as “surveillce.”
Watch Dogs Legion will allow players to “play as anyone, Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems.”
The character you choose to play as will apparently affect how certain parts of the game will play out, and such an ambitious concept will be powered by a complicated system that has led to delays in pushing out the game.
This follows the franchise’s previous trips to Chicago, and then, San Francisco. The rest of Ubisoft’s lineup for E3 is still unknown save for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and maybe the leaked Ubisoft Pass.
With the company announcing more games to come between January and March 2020, E3 2019 promises to be a good show for anyone into Ubisoft’s games.
