For those of us who have been hankering for a tactical fix will be glad to know that Chucklefish’s Wargroove will be making its way onto the PS4 in the near future, according to the latest developers blog post.
The turn-based tactical game has been out since February 1 for other platforms, but is also now in the final stages of CERT, PlayStation’s approval system. However, we still do not have a concrete release date.
The PS4 version of Wargroove will contain all of the same content featured already in the game, minus the cross-platform multiplayer, although that might change as PlayStation starts to embrace cross-play. Players will still be able to download community-made maps and share content with other platforms.
Chucklefish said that the “PS4 version took a little longer than anticipated for a number of reasons – some of which we can talk about about, such as some technical problems that had to be solved around how multiplayer and content sharing would work, and other elements we’re not allowed to talk about for NDA reasons!”
As for when we finally get our hands on the game itself, the developers will be working hard “to share the PS4 release date as soon” as they are able to.
