BioWare and EA’s upcoming space shooter Anthem has garnered pretty mixed reactions since its early release to EA Origin Access Premier members on February 15.
Bugs, crashes, and the dreaded loading screens (read all about 7 minutes of loading here) are just some of the issues players are facing.
And the Anthem development team is fully aware ahead of the full release on February 22.
With a larger audience set to jump in, it presents BioWare with the best chance to make a positive first impression once more.
A Day One patch promises to cut short loading times, implement systematic improvements, and making sure everything run smoother on launch day.
While the full list is extensive, some of the more important fixes for Anthem are:
- Improved loading times
- Fixed many infinite loading screens
- Fixed multiple challenges not tracking properly
- A number of issues have been fixed that was causing players to disconnect or crash
- Weapons and gear now have numbers present for modifiers
While the jury’s out on how effective the fixes would be, at least the developers are addressing the issues.
