Ubisoft has revealed that the upcoming remaster of Assassin’s Creed III will be getting some tweaks to gameplay.
These changes are to “better balance between action and stealth” in the remaster.
Double assassinations will now be easier to pull off. Whistling to attract enemy guards can now also be done from bushes, instead of just behind cover. Free-aiming long-range weapons, first introduced in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, will be implemented, giving players more control.
The remaster will also include “additional weapons for crafting,” an update to the in-game economy, and a new UI that adds colour-blind settings.
New Legacy outfits, which allow Ratonhnhaké:ton to dress up as other familiar faces such as Origins‘ Bayek and Odyssey‘s Alexios are also being added.
Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered is scheduled to release for PS4 and other platforms on March 29. It will be available as a standalone title, or included in Odyssey’s Season Pass.
