The Activision hype machine is in full force building up to the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Friday. We have brought you new this weekend about the game’s player progression and the release of its soundtrack. While on Friday we shared the news about the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare peripherals as well as the Battle Pass. Well, hot on the heels of all that CoD goodness we now have a new trailer for the Special Ops Survival mode.
This game mode has received some controversy for being a timed exclusive (12 months) for PlayStation 4. It plays as a wave-based co-op mode. Teamed up with up to three of your friends you will have to deal with “waves of increasingly difficult and determined combatants in a variety of experiences” across three different maps.
The extremely brief trailer clocks in at only 30 seconds but it gives us a taste of what to expect. We get to see enemies dropping in. It mentions the ability to be able to upgrade weapons. A player revives a downed teammate. And then to top it off we get to see a player bring the pain to the opposition with an aerial strike. Anyway, you can check out the Special Ops Survival trailer below –
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 25th October.
