Activision and Infinity Ward have been slowly showing what the new entry in the Call of Duty series is about. Not long ago they showed the 2v2 mode Gunfight on Twitch with the help of several high profile streamers. Now, some weeks before their full multiplayer unveil on August 1st, there’s a new teaser. The new teaser video, Gunsmith, was posted on the official Call of Duty Twitter account. Gunsmith shares a sneak peek of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s weapon customization system.

According to a blog post in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare site, Gunsmith is a robust customization system for your primary and secondary weapon. In other words, each of your weapons can be augmented to fit your preferred type and style of firepower. Each weapon has five customizations available until you have filled each of the customization slots available. For instance, Activision mentioned Assault rifles as an example, which usually have nine possible areas to customize: the Muzzle, Lasers, Optic, Stock, Rear Grip, Magazine, Underbarrel, Barrel, or a Perk. With only five options available, you will have to choose which areas suit your playstyle the best.
Besides Modern Warfare’s weapon customization, Gunfight 2v2 4K gameplay is now available
If you missed the reveal of the 2v2 mode, Gunfight, Activision made the edited 4K footage already available. In addition, you can take a look at the video they posted here:
