Gamescom 2019 is just around the corner, and later this month, the PlayStation exclusive from Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding will be making an appearance.
The Game Awards’ Geoff Keighley stated via Twitter that Hideo Kojima will be attending the Gamescom: Opening Night Live broadcast, which airs on Monday, August 19. Amongst the many exclusive looks at plenty of upcoming games, there will be a premiere by Kojima of an “exclusive new look” at Death Stranding since its release date trailer in May.

The Gamescom: Opening Night Live will play host to more than 15 of the gaming industry’s biggest publishers, and one can expect announcements and also “world premiere content” that will debut in Cologne, Germany. Not forgetting the indie studios also well, the list of publishers that will be appearing as of now is as follows:

- Google Stadia
- Deep Silver
- Private Division
- Square Enix
- THQ Nordic
- Xbox Game Studios
Gamescom: Opening Night Live starts at 11 AM PT / 2 PM PT / 8 PM CEST on August 19, and Gamescom will properly begin on August 21-24. You can catch the broadcast on “all major game streaming platforms” in English with translations in more than eight different languages.
