In an age of never-ending live service games, it is refreshing to see that an AAA title like Crystal Dynamic’s Marvel’s Avengers is aiming for a shorter experience, at least for its campaign.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Senior Brand Director Rich Briggs shared that players aiming for the golden path will take just about 10 to 12 hours to finish the main campaign.
So if you think about previous Crystal games, you know that if you want to be playing your way through the core story, it’s going to be in that area, 10 to 12 hours.
Like one of their previous franchises, the Tomb Raider reboot, for those looking to complete every side quest and find every collectable, Marvel’s Avengers will likely take you more than 30 hours. And for players looking for even more bang for your buck, the game will continue to receive post-launch content such as new missions, heroes, and activities to do after the main story.
Aside from this information, we also finally learned that Ms. Marvel herself, Kamala Khan, will be the main hero of Marvel’s Avengers, and that a special Earth’s Mightiest edition of the game will be awaiting collectors who are big fans of what Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix is doing.
The latest adventures of the superheroes releases on May 15, 2020.
