The news has finally been revealed by Square Enix, after months of teasing the fervent fanbase about the upcoming DLC for Kingdom Hearts III, the Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC now has a proper release date, thanks to a leaked trailer on the official YouTube account for the game.
On the PS4, players can look forward to jumping back into the Disney role-playing world on January 23, curiously, the same content will only arrive on the Xbox One a month later, on February 25.
As the official description reads, ““Re:Mind – the other tale that unfolded during the climax of KINGDOM HEARTS III. Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.”
We also learned that the DLC will come with new options to make the playing experience better.
Data Creating allows players to use any character to pose with any objects and effects. Slideshows can then be made with the photos taken, with the ability to add in different photo frames or even background music for the entire creation.
As for the Premium Menu, it will allow players to tweak their gameplay experience. A feature titled “Fast Pass” will allow players to weaken enemies and have an easier time throughout Kingdom Hearts 3. “Black Code,” on the other hand, allows players to make their gameplay even more challenging by imposing self-restrictions. This can include not being able to use items, or even healing magic throughout the game.
