As we inch ever closer to the November 8 launch of the trippy and heady Hideo Kojima-led Death Stranding on the PS4, the enigmatic Game Director himself has confirmed there will be a special difficulty mode for those who just want to enjoy the piece of work.
In his tweet, Kojima stated that a “Very Easy Mode” was added for movie fans to enjoy the Death Stranding experience as well as the stellar cast of stars. It will be suitable for “people who usually don’t play games, movie fans, or RPG fans.” On the other hand, there are other difficulty options for the seasoned gamer and action game fans.
Normally there’s only Easy Mode, but we added Very Easy Mode for movie fans since we have real actors like Norman, Mads, Lea starred in. Even Yano-san who never completed the 1st stage of PAC-MAN, was able to complete the game on Very Easy Mode ???? https://t.co/fMZmuZltZw

The cast is indeed quite stacked for Death. Along with The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus, both Lea Seydoux and Madds Mikkelsen from James Bond are in. The Leftovers‘ Margaret Qualley, prominent voice actor Troy Baker, The Bionic Woman‘s Lindsay Wagner, and film director Guillermo del Toro are all part of the production.
With Gamescom 2019 having provided us even more details about the game and Tokyo Game Show happening in just under a week, it would be safe to say that Kojima Productions will be on hand to show off more about Death Stranding, especially at the PlayStation booth.
