Capcom’s Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection has been delayed by a few weeks into 2020.

The Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection delay was announced in a new video from Capcom. The game was originally set to release in January, but that date has been pushed back by about four weeks.

The collection’s Producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya states in the video that the delay was necessary to ensure that the game lives up to the expectations of fans. Seeing as the game is only being pushed back by a few weeks, Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection likely only needs a bit longer to be polished. Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection includes Mega Man Zero, Mega Man Zero 2, Mega Man Zero 3, Mega Man Zero 4, Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man ZX Advent.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection was announced earlier this year and is the latest collection in the Mega Man franchise with a number of them being released prior to now. Recently it was announced that the latest game in the franchise, Mega Man 11, has sold more than one million copies and become one of the best selling games in the Mega Man franchise.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will now release on February 25, 2019.
