Warner Bros Entertainment have announced that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor have been delayed. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are unaffected however.
Warner Bros explained that the old gen versions require “more time in development,” and will now be released on the 21st of November in the UK and the 18th of November in the US. They were original due to be released on the 30th of September but now only the new gen versions will meet that deadline.
Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor will revolve around the ranger Talion as he seeks revenge against the forces of Mordor for the killing of his family. The game will be open world and will feature certain free running mechanics. The game is set in between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and will feature lots of new characters as well as a few familiar faces.
