Mortal Kombat 11 on PS4 appears to now have crossplay with other platforms. The latest update for the game, 1.13 has just gone live on PS4 and the patch notes on the console highlight that the game now has crossplay.
This addition to the game was first picked up by Rooflemonger on Twitter. He posted a photo of the patch notes, which you can see below. So far, there hasn’t been any confirmation from NetherRealm or Sony that Mortal Kombat 11 now features crossplay on PS4 or what platforms are able to play with each other. On top of that, there hasn’t actually been any confirmation that crossplay is live in-game. This patch may have just prepared the game for the feature’s arrival in the future.
We could be in for an official announcement soon, either on the PlayStation Blog or at The Game Awards later tonight. The official patch notes for the 1.13 update can be found here.

Mortal Kombat 11 released back in April and was critically praised for its fast and fluid fighting gameplay. The game has received a number of DLC characters since its launch, with Sindel arriving just a few weeks ago. The Joker is set to arrive in January, with the infamous Spawn coming in mid-March. You can see the full roster of characters available as DLC.
