Sony has rolled out a new system update to PlayStation 4 consoles.

This new update comes in at the petite filesize of 340MB, so downloading it should only take a few moments depending on your Internet connection speed. This new update doesn’t do a lot, with the official patch notes only stating that it “improves system performance.”

Sony is taking its own sweet time with the truly next big system update, which will bring the firmware version up to 5.0. That update will have a slew of new features for PS4 and PS4 Pro owners, whenever it’s actually released. For now, we just have to enjoy this ‘performance’ (read: probably security) update.
