You might want to check what decade you’re in with Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat being in the news. But, yes, it is 2019 and we have some Mortal Kombat news for you. We have known for a while that one of the characters to be added to the lastest game in the series through the Kombat pack would be Nightwolf. Well, thanks to a new trailer on the official Mortal Kombat YouTube account we can now see the first gameplay of the Matoka warrior. You can check out the video below –

The footage is as gruesome and gory as you would expect for Mortal Kombat 11. Like in previous entries to the series, Nightwolf is bringing the pain with a tomahawk, lightning powers, and a spirit bow. What does seem to be new this time is his ability to summon spirit animals. This trailer shows him summoning a bear for defensive purposes and a wolf to be more offensive. We also get a taste of his fatality, which in true Mortal Kombat fashion is over the top and gruesome.

Nightwolf will be available as part of the Kombat Pack from 13th August. This DLC includes 6 fighters. These are Nightwolf, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Spawn, and two yet to be announced characters. You can pick it up from the PlayStation Store for $40.
