New content is incoming for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ahead of the highly anticipated launch of Modern Warfare in October, but it will be coming to the PS4 first. Treyarch will be adding a new operation on Monday, September 23, with the DLC Operation Dark Divide, with no release date as of yet for both PC and Xbox One. The DLC has been confirmed to be coming to the other platforms at a later date.

While the finer details of Operation Dark Divide are yet to be revealed, it is likely to feature a new map for the Zombies mode, and even more locales for multiplayer action. The last operation added for Black Ops 4 was Operation Grand Heist, which added new characters, outfits, maps, and more.
Operation Spectre Rising, which was released in April, introduced a new Specialist in Spectre, who could see enemies’ outlines through the use of smoke grenades, and is a wielder of a sharp katana. The Blackout mode, Black Ops 4‘s version of Battle Royale, has also recently increased its roster with both Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows and seemingly actor Danny Trejo joining the ranks.
Unlike Black Ops 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been confirmed to not have a Battle Royale mode.
