It was inveitable, and now we finally have confirmation. Atlus has officially announced that Persona 5 Royal, the updated version of the widely acclaimed RPG, will come to the PS4 in western territories in Spring 2020.
The announcement was made during the Atlus Art Show in LA, where Shigenori Soejima was a panellist and discussed his work as an artist on both the Persona series and Catherine.
We also got a look at a brand new trailer that came after the end of the panel of the release window.
Of course, Spring 2020 is a wide window, and a more specific release date will have appeased fans even more. However, if you are one of those awaiting the definitive experience of Persona 5 Royal, now there is at least a window to look forward to.
Persona 5 Royal releases in Japan this coming October 31, and introduces overhauls to both the story as well as the content and systems that are in play in the game.
