PlayStation announced another State of Play stream for next week’s Tuesday. We have talked before about our thoughts on the direction PlayStation could take to take full advantage of the State of Play format. Pleasingly, on the last stream, we got some promising surprises such as Predator: Hunting Grounds and a release date for MediEvil. This State of Play will air on Tuesday, September 24 at 1:00 pm Pacific Time /4:00 pm Eastern Time.
According to Sid Shuman, Social Media Director at PlayStation, the show is going to be ‘hefty,’ with a duration of around 20 minutes. As well, he mentioned that this State of Play would sport a ‘fresh look’. It is unclear if this fresh look refers only to the aesthetics of the stream or if there’s going to be a change in the presentation style. All we know is that this edition of State of Play will have a host. Furthermore, new game reveals, and content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios were promised. Sadly, Shuman confirmed there are no plans to disclose any information about the next-gen PlayStation. Guess we will have to wait for an official announcement event or a future State of Play.
