The PS Vita is still alive. Yesterday, New Zealand-based developer Rainbite announced release dates for incoming game Reverie via Twitter. The game will be accessible to Vita owners first, with a North American release date of March 29th and a European release date of April 5th. While the game is coming to PS4, the developer merely said that news on the PS4 version is “coming soon.”

Reverie is a top-down action-adventure game that takes inspiration from Zelda and Earthbound. The game takes place on a fictional island in New Zealand, and is inspired by the legend of Maui and the giant fish. Players take the role of Tai, a boy on summer vacation who must traverse multiple dungeons in a colorful and varied world as he attempts to rowdy spirits that threaten the island’s residents.
