It is already that time of the year again! E3 is around the corner; every gamer is hyped, leaks are all around the internet and, of course, sales are going on a spree. Sony might be skipping E3 altogether, but they are certainly not missing the sales hype. Days of Play was officially announced in the last State of Play. Now, PlayStation has provided a full list and a video with all the details of what goodies are going to be discounted. Days of Play will span for 11 days in total this year, from June 7th to June 17th.
The only thing we knew so far is that the new limited-edition 1 TB Steel Black Days of Play PS4 console was going to be available at $299. Through PlayStation Blog confirmation, there are now new deals beside the exclusive edition console.
From June 7th to June 17th these deals will also be available:
- Jet Black 1TB PS4 Pro – $349.99 USD / $449.99 CAD (MSRP)
- PlayStation VR bundles – starting at $249.99 USD / $329.99 CAD (MSRP)
- DualShock 4 wireless controller (all colors) – starting at $39.99 USD / $49.99 CAD (MSRP)
- Days Gone, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, MLB The Show 19 – starting at $19.99 USD / $29.99 CAD (MSRP)
- PlayStation Hits games – starting at $9.99 USD/CAD (MSRP)
In addition, many more high-profile games will be discounted in the PlayStation Store. Discounts on PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now memberships will also be taking place during Days of Play. PlayStation branded merchandise discounts are confirmed as well, so you might want to keep an eye on the PlayStation Gear Store.
The Days of Play site mentions PSVR bundles. Still, only one bundle has been revealed so far. This bundle includes the PSVR headset, the PS Camera, a copy of Trover Saves the Universe and a copy of Five Nights at Freddy’s Help Wanted. Sony promised additional details overall. Thus, updates might be coming in during the next few days.
Are you excited about Days of Play? Well, this is not the only reason to be hyped. Kojima took over Twitch, and it seems Death Stranding is about to get a lot less cryptic (or possibly even more), who knows?! Here are all the details of the enigmatic stream we have so far.
