Since the release in 2018, Eidos Montréal has supported Shadow of the Tomb Raider with a ton of post-launch content, and soon, all of it, plus something more, will be included in the upcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
This new edition of the game will launch very soon as Square Enix set Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition release date on November 5, 2019.
The Definitive Edition will include the base game and all the content released for it until now. All seven post-launch DLC, including The Forge, The Price of Survival, and The Path Home, will be part of it. Plus, it will be possible to play the final chapter of Lara Croft’s origin story with the content exclusive to the season pass, the Croft Edition bonuses, a new outfit called “Croft Fitness” unique to the Definitive Edition, and some gameplay adjustments.
Square Enix stated that the players who already own Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the season pass will be able to upgrade the game for free on November 5. To receive Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, the players will have to download the update from their respective platform store manually. Those who only have Shadow of the Tomb Raider, to receive the upgrade, will have to buy the Definitive Edition Extra Content bundle that will replace the season pass.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and on Google Stadia later in November.
