While we’ve already seen gameplay footage of Final Fantasy VII Remake (stylized here as Final Fantasy 7 Remake), here’s something you most likely haven’t seen before, and it’s a Final Fantasy 7 Remake JP commercial trailer that shows us just how much the game means to most people.
Note that this isn’t your typical commercial, as it’s over 13 minutes long. There are subtitles, so non-Japanese speaking people can still appreciate the message brought by it (though it looks like it’s not for the full TV spot).
I have to admit, this TV spot isn’t for everyone. I mean, it doesn’t even show any actual gameplay, no? Unless you count the few scant seconds ‘gameplay,” which isn’t stuff we haven’t seen before. There is a lot of reminiscing though, and how the game has impacted all kinds of people over the years since it’s release way back in 1997.
In case you haven’t seen it yet, make sure to check out the Final Fantasy 7 Remake box art, which should look very familiar to those who own the original game back when PlayStation games were packaged in jewel cases.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released on March 3, 2020 on the PS4.
