Annapurna Interactive has confirmed the Wattam PS4 Release Date to be December 17, 2019.
The next game from the creator of Katamari Damacy has long been in development, with the game being announced more than five years ago. However, it is now within touching distance as the game launches in just over four weeks.
Wattam follows creator Keita Takahashi’s trend of making incredibly weird games. However, you can get an insight into the game on the PlayStation Blog. Takahashi answered some questions about the game and his approach to development. These questions range from him becoming a Father to Takahashi stating how he feels when others play his games for the first time. You can check out the questions in full here.
Alongside the Wattam PS4 release date, Annapurna Interactive released a new trailer for the game, which you can see below:
As mentioned above, Wattam was originally announced back in 2014. But after a few trailers and convention appearances, the title went missing for years. However, it popped back up at Sony’s latest State of Play event which was held in September. That showcase offered up the first fresh look at the game in years as well as a December release window.
Wattam releases for PS4 on December 17, 2019.
