Though some like to push the ‘console war’ narrative, a recent tweet from Xbox head Phil Spencer shows that the companies aren’t trying to teardown the competition.

Spencer congratulated Sony on the review scores for God of War, which currently holds a 94 on Metacritic.

Congrats @ on the review scores and the upcoming launch of God of War. Looks like a special launch for the franchise, great job.”

Playstation Enthusiast got our hands on God of War early and gave it a 9.5/10, highlighting its story, characters, combat, and much more. Click here to check out our review, in both written and video form!

    1. Good guy Phil

    2. ….and stupid xbox fanboys are buying xbox one x’s for better load times and enhanced graphics. What a waste of money stupid fanboys will pay for anything…

      1. 95% of ps4 games are on xbox…….so MAYBE they want to play those games in better graphics?

      2. To be fair, the same thing could have been said for the last generation as well when the PS3 was more expensive, but for a lot of the shared platform titles, ran better on 360.

It’s not stupid to pay more in order to get a better experience (else you may as well call every PC gamer a fucking fanboy idiot and be done with it). But that doesn’t excuse the fact that the Xbox One seriously lacks quality exclusive IP development. I think it’s safe to say a large core of the playerbase is sick to death of Halo / Forza / Gears and wants to see high quality, new IP development as well.

    3. Playstation gets God of War. We get… PUBG.
A sub 20fps alpha test piece of garbage that’s the headline act for our ‘most powerful console ever created’.
Oh no, sorry, sorry guys… almost forgot. We got SEA OF THIEVES too!
      Sigh.
Just shoot me and put me out of my fucking misery.
Sincere grats to Sony on this one. MS is too busy chasing the PC market share to bring us any reason to be on Xbox anymore as a platform. Outside of the trinity, our lineup fucking sucks (or they just get cancelled).
