XSEED Games has announced that Ys: Memories of Celceta will be receiving a PS4 remaster in Spring 2020.
The remaster will offer 60 frames per second gameplay and fully remastered graphics. The controls have also optimised to help reproduce the touch screen functions of the PS Vita version of the game. Ys: Memories of Celceta will also support dual audio, allowing you to play the game with English or Japanese voices.
A collector’s edition of the game titled the “Timeless Adventurer Edition” will also be available at launch. XSEED Games have also released an announcement trailer for the game, which you can watch below:
Ys: Memories of Celceta was originally a PS Vita title and a title that was praised by critics when it first released in 2013. The game is at an 82 on Metacritic and has mostly positive reviews. The game also released on PC last year and gained a lot of praise from fans, with the user reviews currently sitting at ‘very positive.’
The Ys franchise has been a long-running franchise on PlayStation consoles and handhelds. The latest entry in the series Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is currently scheduled to come to the West in 2020 as well.
Ys: Memories of Celceta will be released in Spring 2020 for PS4.
